SUPPORT THE RESEARCH This research will provide a valuable contribution to the limited knowledge of tiger shark demographics in south east Queensland , and attempt to assess why tiger shark catches in this region have significantly decreased over the last 5 years. The research has significant implications for the wider community, including fisheries management, conservation, and bather safety. Due to the expensive satellite tags needed to conduct the research, we require significant funding in the form of cash and in-kind support.
